Prayers You Can Use
For your family:
That they would know the love Jesus
Father in heaven, I pray that ______________ may grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ for them, and that they would know the love of Jesus that surpasses all understanding. Help me to both model and to tell them of this great love in Jesus. In the name of Jesus. (Ephesians 3:18-19)
That God would protect them
Lord, you are faithful. Please strengthen and protect _______________ from the evil one. In the power of Jesus of I pray. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
That you would love them as you should

Jesus take the faith you have created in us and make us to love: to love the people of our church and people outside of our church. May our faith express itself in love. In Jesus’ name and for His sake. (Galatians 5:6)
For your church staff and leaders
Thank you Father for those who lead us. In your gracious power, keep them from all harm. Watch over their lives and their families, their coming and going, both now and forevermore. Do not let the evil one have any power over them in the name of Jesus. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Jesus, thank you for the shield of faith that you have given me in my baptism and in the power of Your Word. Protect me with the faith when the evil one fires his arrows of temptation at me, and my life. I am victorious in your death and resurrection and I claim that for my protection. In your risen name.

Father, send Your Holy Spirit to lead me into the truth of Jesus when the devil lies to me. When the evil one whispers in my ear and to my heart, that you could not possibly love me, lead me to the cross where your love shines brighter than the darkness of doubt. Wrap me in the belt of truth! Hear me for the sake of Jesus. (Ephesians 6:14)
